Each examination is tailored to your age, symptoms, health history, previous findings, and individual needs. Testing may include:

When to Schedule

Your recommended examination interval depends on your age, prescription, symptoms, health conditions, family history, contact-lens use, and previous findings. Schedule sooner for new or changing vision, persistent discomfort, redness, flashes, floaters, or other concerning symptoms.

What should I bring to my eye exam?

Bring your current glasses or contact lenses, a medication list, relevant medical or eye-health history, and your current vision and medical insurance cards.

Will my eyes be dilated?

Dilation may be recommended based on your symptoms, age, risk factors, and examination findings. Dr. Star will explain when dilation or additional diagnostic testing is clinically appropriate.
